That is because it isn’t a hedge maze you collective dolts, that is French style garden.
It’s somewhat maze-like and made of hedges so it’s the same thing.
(Tbh I didn’t know anything about French gardens.)
That is like saying that garden is the Kent Gardens because it has plants and is in England.
I think its closer to Kent than France
You can have a French garden and not be in France and you don’t have to be French to use the basic principals of making things symmetrical. I eat French fries everyday and I am not Belgian and the Thai people that run my Chinese restaurant make good Chinese food.
And of course IO has done it deliberately because all the hedges make sneaking around the back garden easier than if it was a more traditional British garden.
Wasn’t really being serious with that one.
Sorry it is really hard to tell. I genuinely know people who try winning arguments like that.
As the sort of middle-class Englishman who enjoys prowling about castles and country houses on days out, I can confirm that this sort of hedge-maze type thing is normal enough on country estates. We love to sequester ourselves away: tall hedges and rose-walks are ideal for that!
We’ve got a weird liking for boxy Tudor hedging. French influences wouldn’t surprise me, either.
Looking at this screenshot from the Game Informer article there’s a gun that looks like a hunting rifle. I hope that it’s some sort of sniper (maybe not as sophisticated as the proper sniper rifles).
One of the things i like about Mumbai is that it’s (I think?) the only map where you can find a sniper without taking one with you, hopefully Dartmoor will be the second !
Ok so I just watched Knives Out and I heavily doubt the outcome from the murder story mission will be the same as in the movie. Don’t worry, I won’t spoil anything. There are some almost identical similarities which have been pointed out before. Funny how Dartmoor was already in development before this movie came out. What are the odds huh? I’ve got to admit though, now that I watched this movie I’m more excited about the murder mystery thing.
Well Rian Johnson had been talking about the idea of Knives Out since 2010 but essentially the model is the same of a classic Agatha Christie story except instead of Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, we’ll be having 47 be the Great Detective.
One thing I’ll be really curious about is if the murder mystery is a static thing (the same every time you play) or has variables (like how in Invitation to a Party and The Lee Hong Assassination you would have randomly assigned safes).
Also whether I will get to lob a fuel can down a chimney for old times sake.
it is always the same (according to that gameinformer thing) but you can get more plot details by replaying it multiple times
That makes sense and is very consistent with the games in this trilogy to date, I do hope that it’ll be as entertaining as probing Silvio’s psychosis in The World of Tomorrow.
I’m glad it’s always the same outcome. Like I’ve real alot bout Heavy Rain should hehe the killer be determent with your choices, well I don’t think so. The killer should be who the one that did the kill. Jeeps the story more focus and indepth when you replay and see “aaah thats why that happens” I have also seen you don’t need all evidence to meet your target. So there is some openness in there…
As I sense this level it gives me some kind of “Tradition of the Trade” vibe. And who wouldn’t mind this?
Obviously Beldingford Manor is more alike to this, but a baby between Beldingford Manor and Tradtions of the Trade could potentially be a legendary Hitman level – if done right of course.
I wonder if the Detective will always wander outside of the mansion or if at one point he gets in and starts investigating. And if he does, can he solve the case, or can 47 influence his conclusions ? I could see multiple mission stories revolving around the murder, even if we don’t take the role of the detective.
That´s a good question. Will he do what he´s supposed to on his own, or will he need a trigger from us like plenty of other NPCs? It would also be nice if he had some fun remarks when passing by 47 (Hmm, those eyes… If I didn´t know any better, I´d say you´re a/the killer.).
Imagine if we can ‘unlock’ it, by leaving dartmoor with it…
This is the kind of rifle I have been waiting for since I saw it in the Sapienza trailer before 2016 even came out. Please, please have a silenced version too. It looks incredible.
