BERLIN, Germany (Mission #3) - Location Discussion

Brilliant!

I love the Agents all swaying from side-to-side in unison while they stand!

1st class Hitman content. :+1: :+1: :+1:

Well Swan just got caught watching no one. In fact he was also checking out his colleagues to his right.

Was toying around in Berlin waiting for an inspiration for a contract for Season of Lust. First thought about making a contract with targets named after ex-girlfriends ā€“ that was too dark, even for me (Iā€™m still friends with most of them, no hard feelings thereā€¦).
Then I searched for ā€œromanticā€ names. A lot of Roseā€™s and so on. No Romeo. No Juliet. During my research I found out that there are a lot of NPCs with the same surname standing next to each other. Siblings? Married couples? Donā€™t know. There are also some nice opposites in names: Standing in line are two people called ā€œLouise Vollā€ and ā€œLudwig Leerā€ (voll is german for full, leer is german for empty). Not sure how this would fit into a story. Then thereā€™s two women, one called ā€œSummerā€ and one called ā€œWinterā€. Also pretty nice.
It was then when I found this character: Vasilis ā€œThe Beastā€ Fezoulidis. Really special name. Anybody got any info on him? Quite unique. Is there a story tied to him? Or do we know anything about him?

Sorry for the rambling post. Just some random thoughts about Berlin.

Google or rather Linkedin shows somebody with that name working at Ubisoft and specifically at Ubisoft Berlin. I suppose itā€™s either a friend of somebody at IO or (canā€™t check on Linkedin directly) even a former IOI employee.

Why not just post the video as is instead of using a link shortener?

Besides, this is the wrong thread anyway. You should probably post it more suitable for Carpathian Mountains. It doesnā€™t even once show Berlin.

Your bravery at uncovering those links is impressive. I never would have clicked on that in my life.

Oh, they just come at the right moment I guess.

The link isnā€™t even harmful actually, it just redirects you to the video with ease. Seems to generate ads with each click which now Iā€™ll have to deep cleanse my mouse.

Some of them pay for clicks. The more clicks link gets the more money you earn

Well I completely forgot to check but did anything happen in Berlin yesterday to go with all those 9/9 posters?

Forgot to check, too. But it just occured to me that this might just be a joke. Ā«Nine, NineĀ» sounds like Ā«Nein, NeinĀ» in german, a classic bouncer thing to say.

Is there a reason why Agent Thames wonā€™t pick up or even acknowledge tasers/illegal items?

How to unlock the rave on suit? I checked the challenges and didnā€™t find it. What am I missing?

You need to complete the ā€œRave Onā€ challenge (itā€™s found in Feats folder). IIRC you need to be disguised as a DJ, be behind the turntable, increase the climax and launch the lightshow.

Normally you have to do the following steps in one run :

  • The Challenge is only visible in the main mission
  • Use the Club Entrance starting location
  • Put on a DJ Disguise
  • Trigger the lightshow in the DJ booth (no need to sabotage the skywalk, ignite the tree or kill any target)

The challenge should then pop up

I was toying around Berlin, and as always I found a bunch of new pathways previously unknown to me.

Most might be well known, but damn do they show why Berlin is one of the best traversal map of the trilogy.

Back entrance

Biker entrance/Roof/Juice bar

Biker hideout

And even more reasons why the shortcut at the club entrance really takes away from the map.

Totally unneeded.

All the shortcuts are stupid. Either they should be open from get-go or they shouldnā€™t exist at all.

That back entrance shortcutā€¦ WHAT

I was wondering why thereā€™s a seemingly dead-end in that section! Itā€™s not an end after all!
