Yes, I’d say you do now.

I remember liking Berlin Egg Hunt last year. But after replaying it today I must say: It“s kinda lame. And super easy. There is no replayability after you finish it and unlock the suit.

Can“t believe I“m saying this but I miss some of the old escalations from Hitman 2016. They were at least a challenge.

I don’t. They went on for too long and were not balanced well.

The same can be said for the Elusive Target Arcade. And IOI has no problem with that.

I“d rather play those stupid old escalations than Murillo for the third time in a row.

Ah viva Columbia

Did you beat him in all 3 HQs?

Mureillio is admittedly a very annoying ET (I too lament him in my video covering the ETA’s initial issues), but he’s the the exception to the rule honestly. Even The Food Critic has less randomisation than he does, despite having a similar ā€œsit here and talk trashā€ gimmick. even if ETA’s are easier now, that is far better than being forced to hide bodies all the bloody time. There isn’t as much challenge, but it’s not as easy as completing the ET normally either.

And not to point out the obvious, but IOI rebalanced all but one of the ETA’s because of the backlash; IOI haven’t changed any of the 2016 escalations to make them easier, or even to put them to three stages.

The 2016 escalations they didn’t bring back are the same level of quality as Hitman 2’s escalations, Hitman 3’s escalations and the 2016 ones that were carried over. In other words, most were meh, a few were dogshit, and a few were pretty fun. I wish The Ataro Calignosity, The Caden Composition and The Susumu Obsession were carried over.

The. Lupei. Sensitivity.

Even discounting that one, a lot of the 2016 escalations feel like time trials to do X in a specific time and way, making them much more linear as a result, rather than a puzzle to solve at your own pace; them being five stages only exacerbated the problem. H2’s escalations put more effort into specific mini-puzzles and small gimmicks, while H3’s non 7DS escalations continue that trend. The 7DS escalations are essentially mini game modes in their own right.

Is there anyway to glitch into the club and biker hangout without the usual gear (briefcase, breaching charge, and muffins) which cannot be brought due to the restricted loadout?

It’ll be fun to replay in a decade when you come back to this game. I recently booted up H2SA just to try something out and my save file was corrupted so I had to start over. It was even fun to shoot the watermelons in the training area bc it had been so long.

That’s only if the servers are still up by then

Isn’t it becoming permanently available mean it’s part of the game itself now and can be played whenever, servers or no servers?

If not, this game is gonna have a lot of problems down the road.

Escalations only available in online mode

They better fix that, then. When this game finally goes down, I expect Dartmoor Garden Show and the 7 Deadly Sins to be available. Freelancer had better be a permanent fixture irrespective of online status as well.

Servers are going to be down in quite far days.
I think they will make something out till that time

Good. I don’t want a repeat of the Auditore crypt from Assassins’ Creed 2 happening with a Hitman game.

Isn’t the event permanent now? You won’t be able to earn any unlocks unless they change that all at the end of the games lifecycle, but you should still have all your unlocks I believe.

As it stands right now, the only things that are truly permanently accessible even if the servers are shut down are the main missions and story, the 2016 side missions and Patient Zero, and Hitman 2’s Special Assignments. Any Seasonal Events, escalations, ET arcade missions, Sniper Assassin missions, and contracts will be unplayable. There won’t be any challenges or Mastery, and the only way to have access to items offline is if you previously unlocked them online.

Just to be clear, I don’t think IO are evil or will take the servers down willingly, I think it’ll end up being circumstances out of their control that causes them to go down such as new regulations or laws being passed. A lot can happen in 10 years, I don’t think anyone even 5 years ago could have predicted the crazy events of the 2020’s.
