Ask HMF anything

Is there anyone living in the UK :uk: who would be willing to help me out? :crown: :dragon: :fire: found some clothing for her teddy bear she MUST have. It’s not available at the build-a-bear stores in the US or at the build-a-bear stores in the UK. It’s not available on the US website but it is available on the UK website.

So what I am seeking is someone to be my “shipping manager”. I could buy the things and ship them to your place in the UK and then you could FedEx them to me in the states and I could send you money to cover the shipping and a little extra to buy you a drink or two since you’re helping me out. Alternatively if you’re not wild about some internet person having your address you could buy the items from the website and ship them to me and then the money I send you will be enough to also cover those costs. I can wire money, snail mail money, Zelle you money, buy you an online gift card, pay your fee in gold like 47 wants his fees… whatever you want really.

I adore the Burnout series, Revenge is great, 3 is also great too, and despite originally being a PSP title ported to the PS2, Dominator is also a great follow up as well. Paradise is a bit of a different beast due to it being open world, it doesn’t have the old games intensity since the races are never linear, but in return you get a great open world map that is just wonderfully designed to do stunts around and just have fun in.

@Yacob Silly question I know but I take it the UK Build-a-Bear won’t just ship directly to the USA then?

No I tried it! The UK site won’t ship to the US. When I realised that I happened to have plans to be in London soon anyway so I figured I’d just make time to go pick it up. Well “soon” was yesterday and the day before. I went to the one inside Hamleys and called the one inside some other toy store. They don’t have it. It doesn’t say “online only” but maybe they don’t ship them to stores anymore bc only a few left? I don’t know, but I already told her I’d take care of it thinking dropping by on my trip would be easy. NEED HELP PLEASE

@Yacob I can probably help you out with that, PM me about the details

I’d recommend Battlefield 1, maybe V too but 1 is better, the campaigns can be played offline although they are on the shorter side if that matters.
For racing maybe the Dirt games, they’re quite fun, or Dirt Rally for a more serious/sim style. I do think some content for them is locked behind online but not sure what exactly.

Thanks so much! Someone is already helping me though. HMF is the best!!

In the Paris mission, who is Philip von Zell? Novikov talks to him and he seems to be a friend of some kind. And the wiki says that he is a food judge, but unless I’ve missed something, I have never heard any dialogue to back that up.

I have a life-wise question to Britain inhabitants.
What car insurance operator would you recomend to use?
Which one you think is the best?
You may PM me if you want

Generally, I go with whatever’s cheapest. Having said that, I have had not great experience with Admiral in the past and fairly good experience with 1st Central - and their autorenewal price was actually cheaper for me this year than any comparison site deals which I don’t think has ever been the case for me before.

I’ve looked into it. IMO, he does seem to be more than a mere acquaintance with Novikov since he speaks of Lucas Grey (right? the person who broke into the FSB and killed whoever it was). And that was just on the first loop. On the next loop, Phillip mentions that Valerie was there to do an interview. 3rd loop, Novikov walks past him, and I assume that’s the end since I (or, the player) is in the vicinity to hear those conversations to gain story missions. So…

I can only guess that the person who wrote his section in the Wiki was only guessing or making an assumption since he was in the food prep area. There are (as we know) no references in the Wiki to substantiate their claims on this NPC.

I would think he works for Novikov, given the intel/info he relays to him. Also, the Chateau is likely a place he doesn’t frequent since he doesn’t seem to enforce any disguises.

Sorry these aren’t definitive answers, but whatever your guess is/was would be just as good as mine.

Why is Jonathan Smythe an ICA sanctioned target?

Because someone put a contract on him through them.

Right. I thought ICA sanctioned meant that someone working within the ICA wanted them dead

To my understanding, it means that ICA received a order for a contract to be put on a target, it has received approval, and is either being assigned to a specific agent (like most of 47’s hits), is being left open for any agent/handler team not currently working to accept because it’s not a priority mission (like the contract on Akka), or it’s left open and unassigned because the target’s location has not yet been determined, and if said target comes up on the radar of a handler’s intel network, they get first dibs on them because the agency already sanctioned them for termination, so have at it (like the contracts on Smythe and Sean Rose).

That is a long sentence.

If he does not shave his beard for Matrix, he won’t shave his head for Hitman.

EDIT: Uh I assume, I did not watch the latest matrix yet. I bet he does in fact is shaven in some scenes.

TO is the best Agent and it’s a shame he didn’t return to the role in a sequel
