Don’t worry about it, name of most VA’s from Hitman won’t ring a bell as they’re usually from UK, and mostly play small roles. Bennett voiced Graves, Ljudmila, Royce and many other targets and NPC’s.
I just found it interesting that since VA’s contracts are apparently for 5 years, she re-appeared again.

Yeah lol probably marketing stuff she got early for her socials, and wanted to drum up hype, but obvs. that’s all she had or used the wrong one haha
Good to hear we’ll have some new NPC dialogue though, always fun to hear what new mini side-stories come with these ETs

Elise Bennett’s voice is iconic and recognizable as fuck, surprised that some people don’t know her name, but it’s understandable lol

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think she’s the only female voice actress that has been consistently in the game since 2016 (starting with Bangkok or earlier), a real veteran of the Hitman’s voice cast

I wish IO used her less than they did across the trilogy tbh. She’s clearly not one of those VAs that can do a wide range of voices, so every single main mission target she’s voiced sounds exactly the same.

I like her voice, but they should use her to voice 2 targets at max. Unfortunately, IO does not seem to use their VA’s at full potential. People like Derek Hagen, Ben Crowe or Susan Taylor have pretty wide range of accents and dialects they can do, but it’s never utilized. Hell, if they wanted to have Vetrova actually sound Russian, they could ask Taylor, who has it in her creditentials.

I think a big reason they don’t have them do that is because they want to reuse existing voice lines for their generic lines. Using their normal voice means that their accent won’t change, like it does for Oliver Cotton (in Miami especially), who switches between his natural English accent the worst American accent I’ve ever heard; Susan Taylor, who goes between her normal voice and the tourist-type voice; and Adam Bond, who started out with a weird “somewhere between New York and Boston” accent that he dropped around the time New York released, ironically enough.
Alexander McMorran also does a lot of different voices, but somehow it’s made less jarring by the fact that pretty much every scripted line by him has some kind of different voice.

Honestly, I would be okay if they just accents and not extra voices for generic lines, because you wouldn’t normally trigger them.
Anyway, back to The Drop: I hope they asked Alexios Laskaridis to also do extra lines for his generic behavior so he doesn’t get switched to random VA, like they did with Sean Bean.

It’s unlikely he’ll have a full set, but Sean Bean/Mark Faba did have a small amount of generic lines, most noticeably when he was made sick or held at gunpoint. I think it’s likely enough that The Drop will be the same. Probably nothing too significant, but as Anthony said, one can hope. :)

Another big problem that makes it hard to be hyped for the celebrity ET is when, according to a poll earlier in the thread, 85% of people had never heard of Dimitri Vegas. Its just another regular standard ET for most people.
