can’t emphasise enough how much i don’t know how any of this works, buuut they’re a small studio; i wouldn’t blame them if this were the case (which it probably isn’t). gots to pay the bills. it’s no different than rewarding early adopters.
IOI are in charge of pricing, they can change it however they see fit; but of course it’s not wise for obvious reasons.
As mentioned above, It’s very different, not least because this wasn’t publicised as such. This price hike is so bad for so many reasons.

Being small and independent doesn’t mean that they should try and pull stuff like this and expect people not to rise an eyebrow (or two)

I had to buy the PS4 standard version, cheapest was 548,- NOK, but the Deluxe Edition costs 899,- NOK! That’s way too expensive for my taste. I will be missing out on the close looking Blackballer gun, but I’m not ready to put in that much money for getting that gun.

The calculations how much they need to sell at which price to pay the bills is not done 2 weeks before release. They didn’t wake up today and realized they need 5 £ more per brirish customer to pay Forest in January.
the ““blackballer”” actually comes with the trinity pack which is a preorder bonus. you dont need the deluxe edition

Tbh the difference between standard and deluxe Edition in India makes it look more like a bug.

Ah okay, glad I did pre-order then, but it didn’t say anything about the Trinity Pack, so I didn’t think I would get it outside the Deluxe Edition.

Just these days I saw the same regional price hikes happening for The Medium (currently for pre-orders).

Game in the UK had the deluxe edition for £79.99 but as stores are closed again they wanted me to buy it online but still pay another £5 on top for delivery when on Amazon I can get it free delivery for same price.

I just want to know why New Zealand’s Deluxe price decreased.
Purchased the deluxe edition pre-order on Canadian psn for $85 (ps+ discount), 6 dollars more than the standard at 79. Grabbed before it goes back up to $110. Worth. Don’t know if I can say the same for you international friends due to what seems like whacked pricing.
The price of the standard edition has also decreased now in New Zealand. $87.40 now.
DE price decreased back to 9,380 yen in Japan (SE is still the same at 6,180).
